World, meet Sean.
Sean is an Executive Producer at Click. Not only is he incredibly gifted and passionate about creating quality video content, but he’s also a huge fan of people. Sean goes out of his way every morning to ask each Click employee how they’re doing and if they need help with anything. It’s attitudes like his that make all the difference for our clients – and our employees.
When did you first discover your love for multimedia?
My first interest in television production was as a young teenager. I was at my cousin’s house watching television with her stepfather. A NASCAR race came on. I watched a car that had gotten into a huge wreck and was on fire. I wasn’t interested at all in the race or what it meant for the driver to get into a crash. What I loved was how the camera was working, how it took me inside the action. To this day I’ll watch television and not even watch the actual show. I’ll watch what’s going on behind the scenes.
Tell us about your formative years.
I graduated from Fargo North High School, Class of 1990. After high school, I went to Concordia College (Moorhead, MN), and also worked full-time at a TV station.
I’ve been married to my wife Amy for 23 years. We live in Moorhead and have two girls, Olivia, 13, and Audrey, 9, and one dog – Comet. My kids love theater and everyone except for me is very musical.
What motivates you to do your best?
It’s the need to do it right. You can’t in much of what we do you can’t hide from it. Put the spot on TV, send the thing on social media and it’s out there. The world gets to judge how well we do. I’ve always enjoyed that.
What would you tell your 20-year-old self?
The most talented people are the most willing to share what they know. Learn from them.
When you see someone and you admire their work and approach, go talk to them and if they’re as good as you think they are, they will have time for you. They will make it an obligation to spend time with you now and in the future.
What do you want people and businesses to know about Click?
What our team brings to the table is knowledge of what works and making sure our clients stand out in a good way. It’s about relationships and individual partnerships and coming up with what specifically works best for each client.
